My Story

I first picked up a handbell in a bell choir in September 1992, and I have been a founding member of four different handbell groups. Within 2 years, I was ringing quartets, and I performed my first solo on Christmas Eve 1997.

Since then, I have been performing and teaching handbells across North America. With my best friends, I released a CD of handbell music in 2009.  I currently have three solo handbell arrangements in publication, and I have appeared on television three times for handbells.

At the same time, I have always been a graphic designer, sometimes for work, sometimes just for me. I graduated from college in Cartography - map-making.

We Love Handbells is the place where these two worlds collide. I've always looked for cool items with handbells, but there aren't that many out there. So this is my way to create cool handbell items that I hope other handbell lovers will enjoy, too.

And the name?  Handbell ringers are taught that, following a performance, when we take a bow, we stay down in the bow long enough to say "We Love Handbells" and then come back up again and smile.
